General Meeting – September 18, 2006

Meeting started @ 7:40 PM 9/18/06

  1. Minutes for August 2006 read and accepted
  2. Treasurer report accepted.
  3. Net stats for end of August and September given. Attendance has improved the past 3 weeks.
  4. N2NMH, Rich, gave an update on the 145.33 repeaters
  5. KO4FR, Stro, has access and keys to the John Knox Tower. Weather Alert Radio soon to be online.  UPS on repeater.
  6. Letter of Appreciation for Dave Adams and Dave Hamm were discussed and approved to be written up.
  7. Amendment to create a position of “Member at Large” made and accepted.
  8. Current President is responsible for submitting SCC renewal by June 30 2007.  Motion made and accepted.
  9. Paul, KF4QPR, volunteered and elected to be Member at Large.
  10. Lisa, KE4HGO, nominated and elected to be Secretary.
  11. Rich, N2nmh, gave ARES update
  12. CJ, KF4RQN, has been asked to provide assistance with Web Page improvement.
  13. Lisa, KE4HGO, mentioned about getting ham radio into middle schools (5th grade).
