    1. 17 October 05 minutes accepted by membership

TREASURER'S REPORT

    1. Treasurer’s report read and accepted. Balance of $135.43

COMMITTEE REPORTS

    1. KI4KWR - Communications Officer not present
    2. KF4QPR -Training Officer would like to bring in an old tube radio and show us how to tune it.
    3. Red Cross Liaison:  KE4AZL-no report
    4. Net Manager: Lynnette KB1LGB requested more net control volunteers

OLD BUSINESS

    1. Alternate simplex frequency if problems with repeater is the output of 145.33

PROGRAM

  1. KG4IIF gave his critique of our tabletop drill
  2. Stressed HIPPA issues NEVER give personal info over the air
  3. Always keep transmissions short and to the point
  4. Make sure you are self sufficient and aren’t part of the problem

NEW BUSINESS

    1. N2NMH would like to do an NTS program next month.
    2. Announced a lot of work being done on local Tidewater wireless repeaters to provide linking capabilities and broad coverage
    3. Possibly February for Skywarn class
