    1. 15 July 05 minutes accepted by membership

TREASURER'S REPORT

    1. W2SBI read treasurer’s report and accepted by membership
    2. Need to find bank for Corp. account

COMMITTEE REPORTS

    1. Public Service Coordinator: Ray, KI4KNV resigned and paid two years dues
    2. Red Cross Liaison:  Not present-no report
    3. Net Manager: Lynnette KB1LGB gave July’s check in totals
    4. Asked membership about a Friday night net, membership said go for it

OLD BUSINESS

    1. Table Top drill announced for September 19, 2005 by Ira, KI4IIF
    2. ARRL affiliation is in process, have had some approvals, waiting on 3 more
    3. No other RASON logos submitted
    4. Dues announced to be due by September 19, 2005
    5. Stro gave update about SKYWARN
    6. Stro asked for all to give opinions on the WEBSITE to him so he can make changes

NEW BUSINESS

    1. New membership applications approved 3 new members in club

    2. N2NMH announced Rock and Roll Half Marathon for details contact Al, WA4TCJ

    1. ARES update given by N2NMH
      1. 10 Members in Norfolk ARES
      2. Identified placement of UHF repeater
      3. ARES training for special tasks only as they occur, for other training www.training.fema.gov
      4. NTS training session give Rich, N2NMH input for dates and times
      5. Stro, KO4FR has meeting with owner of down repeater at Firehouse 9 this week
    2. Stro, KO4FR mentioned RASON would also like to try and start passing some traffic on our net maybe once a week
    3. Lynnette, KB1LGB to contact Bel Aire for reservations for August 20, 2005

UPCOMING EVENTS

    1. Virginia Beach Hamfest September 17/18, 2005 start to get your things you would like at our table ready to go!!!
    2. Matt working on sharing 2 tables with Tidewater REACT
    3. New banner, picked up by Matt KB1LCS, to be unveiled at Hamfest
    4. Stro, KO4FR feels some kind of restitution be given for the purchase of the banner and the gavel

OPEN FLOOR TO SUGGESTIONS

    1. KG4KJW suggested that everyone volunteer when they can it is excellent training and that upcoming events are NOT just for VBARC
    2. Next meeting 19September05 @ Norfolk Fire Training Center @ 1930
