Board Meeting 11/13/06

Meeting started @ 728 PM

Health and Welfare discussed.  Paul’s father is gravely ill. Stro’s father is in the hospital and a friend of his sister was in a bad car accident and is in critical condition.

Don E. will be going out of town and asked that Treasurer’s report be read as follows:
$193.57 is currently in the RASON checkbook.

Christmas party discussed. A head count is needed by general meeting on 11/20/06 and a final decision as to location of party needs to be made. The Banque was suggested and Don E. also offered his home if need be.  Lisa suggested doing a “White Elephant/Dirty Santa” gift exchange.  Also, it could be put forth at next general meeting that donations from employers would be welcome as door prizes/raffles.

January dinner meeting to be held on Saturday 1/13/06. Stro to make reservations at Surfrider.

The Board checked into the nightly net.

Fundraiser proceeds discussed. $ to be earmarked to go towards club insurance and a donation to be made to Tidewater Wireless.

Don and Stro to go to bank and add 2nd signature onto bank account. This protects account and users.

On Sundays at 9pm there is an Echo Link net on the Red Cross net.
